OpenAI OpenAI Launches AI Health Assistant a two-part healthcare strategy, introducing a consumer-facing health assistant and an enterprise hospital platform. The move marks the companyโs biggest expansion into the medical sector.
On January 7, OpenAI unveiled ChatGPT Health, a section within ChatGPT where users can connect medical records and wellness apps for personalized health guidance. The launch reflects the growing demand for AI in health. OpenAI reports 230 million weekly health queries from users worldwide. The American Medical Association notes that physician AI usage nearly doubled from 2023 to 2024.
